In his mid-thirties, Paul Kalanithi, a neurosurgeon at Stanford University, is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Kalanithi uses the pages of this book to share his thoughts on how to approach death with grace and what it means to be fully alive. Some messages that stood out to me: Recovering from tragedy does not imply attempting to find the person you used to be, but rather attempting to find the person you need to be. Categories that I'd previously avoided reading, such as autobiographies, nonfiction titles, and historical fiction, became much more appealing as a result of the voice actors reading them. I'm a fast reader, so I can end up skimming half a book, but Audible allowed me to truly slow down and absorb the stories.

Abdul Kalam, A.P.J.

Though he was not a professional public speaker, his perspectives on life and how to improve one's skills were the qualities that most impressed me.

Bob Dylan

He reminds me of a fondest moment I have of my dad. I was seven years old and was riding through my dad's car with him, listening to him and singing with him. He is also my favourite because of his brilliant writing and the songs he writes. The stories he tells, the images he conjures, and the raw, visceral feelings he conveys are so captivating and perfectly suited by his musicianship that you can't help but be hooked.

Bright Printed leggings
